Throughout the years, industrialization followed by the introduction of motor vehicles has led to hazardous and harmful chemicals in the air that have made the atmospheric air dangerous to breathe. This is the result of air pollution but what is air pollution exactly? Air pollution is the emission of harmful toxins, called air pollutants, that stay in the air. Our health, lifestyle, and future are all at risk because of air pollutants. The pollutants in the air are inhaled and their effects are seen immediately. Once the air that we breathe gets polluted it becomes a hazard for both animals and human beings. One of the most common health effects that air pollution causes is bronchitis, asthma, and other lung problems. The profound effects of air pollution are not just limited to our health but on our lifestyle as well. It contributes to a multitude of health problems which, in turn, lead to drastic lifestyle changes that alter our daily lives. These lifestyle changes range from financial/economic stability to food shortages. Some of these lifestyle influences are often disregarded by people because of how unrelated they seem to be. Nevertheless, their prominent relationship can have effects on everything in our daily lives through indirect relationships.
